Many benefits elude us because we take our instincts for granted. Our emotions, feelings and guts are God’s blessing in our life.
Most time we trusted the untrustworthy person and regrets it for ever. This is great error of humanity. We are deceived by appearance and sweet word while we neglect our instincts.
Some scrupulous kings conspired to stop Nehemiah from rebuilding the broken wall of Jerusalem. They consulted a reputable prophet within the city to lie and sent message of fear to weaken the workforce and stop the project. But Nehemiah replied “I realised that God had not sent him, so I refused to stop working” Neh 6:12
Trust your instincts there are many fake prophets in town. They are popular, highly influencer. They are raised to ruin. Beware! Don’t be carried away by frivolity and glamour of this world. Listen to your gut.
Hear the lamentation of Kind David during the funeral of Abner “should Abner have died as a fool dies?” 2Samuel 3:33. Abner ignored his instinct. He trusted Joab who effectually sent him into the grave. Abner died like a fool. A wise man died a fool’s death.
You don’t have to live in regret, that is not the plan of God for you. Therefore, God placed a mechanism to discern inside of you as instinct, feeling, hunch or gut. Don’t joke with it.
I think instinct is the voice of the Holy Spirit in our hearth. Sin kills instinct but salvation reawakens our instincts to function optimally.
Psalm 18:28 “For Thou wilt light my candle; the LORD my God will enlighten my darkness.” Proverbs 20:27 “The spirit of man is the candle of the LORD, searching all the inward parts of his being.”
Instinct is the candle of God in the heart of man. Perhaps it is the voice of the Holy Spirit whispering to us the truth we need to know or perhaps it is guardian angel assigned to help us exercise dominion on earth.
Trust your instinct as you make that decision. He will guide you. Therefore, it’s very important to come to Jesus Christ. Surrender your life to Him He will strengthen you instinct and direct your steps.
To trust our instincts, we must have higher sense of self-esteem. However, religion suppresses self esteem and turn man to a robot but salvation through Christ Jesus liberate us to express ourselves and develop sense of higher esteem.
Ready to forward your instinct. Faith is not foolishness. Faith works with holy feelings by the Spit of God. Faith also does not deny the facts. Don’t be a prey to the wolves in sheepskin.
